The Start of a New Year

Rob and I started off the new year getting baptized on January 3rd. It was a wonderful experience. We have been attending Abundant Life Church (Christian) in Happy Valley since October of 2007 and love it. Pastor George is a wonderful speaker and knows just how to make sermons fun while learning at the same time.

Before finding Abundant Life my impression of church was not a fun and lively place, more a place where you were told all the things you were doing wrong and endless rules to live by. That is not the feeling at Abundant Life at all. If you're in a spot in your life where you are looking for a church home, check out their website at the link to the right. You can even watch sermons online if you go to the resources tab and then choose online teaching to get a feel for what the church is like. Anyway, it has made a wonderful difference in our lives and we really enjoy the people we have met and the relevant life classes the church provides to survive in today's world.
